EET 2.0: sales reporting returns in 2027

From 1 January 2027 businesses in Czechia must again report their sales online to the Financial Administration – this time including card, QR and mobile payments. Our POS system is EET 2.0 READY.

EET 2.0: sales reporting returns in 2027

What EET 2.0 means for you

Start on 1 January 2027

The law was signed in September 2026. EET 2.0 starts on 1 January 2027; January is planned as a trial period.

All in-person payments

Cash, card, QR code and mobile payments made on site are reported. Bank transfers and remote payments are not.

Online reporting, less data

Sales are sent online to the Financial Administration. Much less data than in the old EET – no VAT breakdown and no item details.

No paper receipt required

Printing a receipt is no longer mandatory. You can issue receipts electronically.

Exception: EET OFF

The smallest flat-tax entrepreneurs can choose "EET OFF" instead of reporting, under conditions set by law. Everyone else needs a till that reports to EET 2.0.
